Protecting your town

Just like in medieval times, powerful nations may raid weaker towns to seize resources and weaken their rivals. However, there are many ways to protect your town from such threats. Here are a few recommendations for new towns: Fortifying your town
In Pactoria, raiders can’t harm you or ruin your day if they can’t breach your town’s defenses. One way is to construct walls or build your town on a high ground making it harder for raiders to approach.
Flying mounts can give raiders the ability to bypass walls and other ground-based defenses, but don’t worry there’s a solution: flak turrets.
How Flak Turrets Work:
Flak turrets are specially designed to target and deter airborne threats, ensuring that flying mounts won’t give attackers an easy way into your town.
Sky Defense: Protect your town from aerial raids.
Strategic Coverage: Place them on towers or high points for maximum effectiveness.
Peace of Mind: Ensure that no matter how raiders attack, your town remains safe.
With flak turrets guarding the skies, your town can remain secure against any airborne threats!

Another efficient way to protect your town is using guard towers. What are guard towers?
A Guard Tower is a unique structure that can be crafted to provide your town with automated defense. When constructed, the Guard Tower will periodically spawn guard mobs that are loyal to your town. These guards will automatically spawn whenever a non-nation member is detected nearby, ensuring constant vigilance.
Guard Tower Variants The guards spawned by the tower are programmed to attack any player or entity that your nation has flagged as hostile. Additionally, they will retaliate against any entity that inflicts harm on a nation member. You can manually summon guards by pressing the button on the spawner block within the tower. In addition to that you have the option to make it so guards attack neutral players making your town extra protected.
Health and Maintenance Each Guard Tower has a health value that depletes whenever a guard is killed by an enemy player. If the tower’s health reaches zero, the tower will be destroyed if it is located outside of a town or will become inactive if inside a town. Fortunately, the health of the tower regenerates slowly over time, allowing for long-term use with proper care.
Managing and Customizing the Guard Tower By right-clicking the spawner block, you can access detailed information about the Guard Tower, including its current health and status. This interface also allows you to customize certain settings, such as whether guards should attack neutral players. Customization Tip: Make sure to set your nation’s banner using the /nation setbanner command. Your nation’s banner will be proudly displayed on all of your Guard Towers, showcasing your nation's identity. Note: Destroying the spawner block will result in the complete destruction of the Guard Tower, so handle it with care.
With a combination of all those defense tactics you can be sure that raiders will not be a threat to your town.
