How to start a Siege?

Once you’ve met the requirements for declaring war and you know a little bit about sieges, it’s time to launch your first siege. The first step? Setting up a War Camp.

What is a War Camp? A War Camp acts as your base of operations for the siege, allowing you to coordinate your attacks and maintain pressure on the enemy town.

Place the War Camp as close as possible to the enemy town to maximize efficiency during the siege.

After placing your War Camp, start the siege by right-clicking the spawner in the center.

The spawner will display nearby towns you can besiege, those you cannot, and any unmet requirements for starting a siege. the next phase is prelude

Prelude Time

Once the War Camp is established, a 30-minute prelude phase begins, allowing attackers and defenders to prepare for the battle. during this time protections remain active during this phase, preventing any destruction. Once the prelude ends, the real battle begins. Block protections are lifted, allowing attackers to use fire, TNT, and other destructive methods like siege weapons to breach the town's defenses.

Attackers can break soft blocks like dirt, obsidian, sand, and glass with tools, while hard blocks like stone require explosives to destroy. The main objective for attackers is to destroy the enemy Nexus by attacking it repeatedly with a sword, then carry it back to their War Camp. However, the Nexus will fight back, adding a layer of challenge.

Defenders must stop the attackers from capturing the Nexus. A boss bar at the top of the screen shows the attackers’ progress; it decreases when attackers die and ticks down over time. If the bar reaches zero, the defenders win the siege.

Postlude Phase

After the battle, this phase allows players time to withdraw from the town. A portal will appear at the War Camp, providing a safe way for players to return home.
